About Contextured
Contextured was founded in 2008 by Michael Oxley and Rajesh Pampapathi. Together with a team of equally obsessed programmers, they have built an Internet advertising tool that will help you sell more stuff online.
From first hand experience, Oxley acutely understood the frustration and disappointment many website owners feel when they build (and pay for) a great website, but then struggle to generate online sales. The fact is Internet advertising can be time consuming and painful. So after months of frustration with the available tools and suppliers he enlisted Pampapathi to help build the obvious solution – an advertising algorithm that does the hard-work.
The reasoning was simple, if the scientific research of Dr Pampapathi and others in machine learning and natural language processing could be built into a product for managing Google AdWords, then Oxley would be less frustrated and disappointed and would be able to help more website owners with their online sales. Two fantastic Angel investors shared this vision and backed them to build such a product.
That product is now available and is called Contextured AdTime. It is built on the premise that the web is a fast moving place, where customers can come and go in an instant. The key is to spot what’s driving traffic and to respond to it quickly before your advertising money is spent in the wrong place and customers go somewhere else. It offers the kind of visibility and transparency we have all come to expect in many areas of personal and business lives, anything from logistics and banking to flight booking and share dealing. Nobody wants to wait for their data.
